The third session of GenOps club meeting had a walk through of what Operations Performance is and how organizations utilize it to drive the productivity. Below are the highlights of session:
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Abhishek introduced the concept of Operation performance to the club and gave a brief insight on the Triple Bottom Line approach and the stakeholder’s perspective of operation performance.
- Saket discussed different operational performance objectives with relevant examples and how productivity can be evaluated across different complexity levels. Adding to that, a discussion over the trade-offs between the objectives with an examples of transportation system.
- Prashant briefed on how objectives matter in performance and can be leveraged to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Shashank discussed a case study on Patagonia B Corp, while quoting few examples about Tesla and Amazon while giving an industry experience example by North highland consulting and how they were able to help clients leverage the true potential of operations.
